
NEW PODCAST - The Humanimal Connection
As part of Humanimal Trust's seventh anniversary celebrations and ahead of World Environment Day on 5th June, we are so excited to announce the launch of our podcast, The Humanimal Connection.
The podcast will be a series of seven episodes on a variety of One Medicine topics such as how One Medicine approaches are being used to treat injured wildlife, sustainability, mental health etc. The first episode is called 'Oneness - How charging ahead with One Medicine will make us all stronger together' and we chat to Humanimal Trust Trustees, Professor Roberto La Ragione and Dr Ben Marshall on the origins of the Trust and what One Medicine is (and isn't). We then chat to Dr Johan Marais, Founder of the organisation, Saving the Survivors - this team of wildlife vets work in the field within Kruger National Park, South Africa and have adapted techniques from human medicine to treat endangered wildlife that have been subject to attacks by poachers.
